Posted by kimr on

We celebrated Batman Day today in honor of his 75th anniversary. Ms. Irma and Ms. Kim read Batman books and taught us a few superhero moves. We played a Batman game and colored a picture of him. Thanks to DC Comics for our special event kits which included a poster, mask, bookmark and pins!storyhour07242014 (2) storyhour07242014 (6) storyhour07242014 (7) storyhour07242014 (10) storyhour07242014 (15) storyhour07242014 (21) storyhour07242014 (25)

Posted by kimr on

Today the younger kids learned about measurement while talking about animals and how big or small they are. They measured an elephant footprint, measured each other and sang and danced about animals. Then they colored a giraffe and gave it spots. The older kids talked about space with Ms. Jennifer. They talked about planets, constellations, NASA, and they even got to wear a space helmet!
