Children’s Class November 7, 2017: a slithery visitor
Rick Torres from Ray Roberts Lake State Park Isle du Bois – Texas Parks and Wildlife visited the library this morning. The kids enjoyed learning about the amazing and odd things animals can do with their tails, noses, feet, and other body parts. Ranger Rick also brought his friend, Cleopatra “Cleo”, a speckled king snake. We learned how to gently pet Cleo using two fingers. #CCLchildrensclass #snake#TexasStatePark
123 Ms. Terry
The “1,2,3…” program visited Ms. Terry’s Preschool this morning. The kids learned about library etiquette. Thanks to the Cooke County Electric Cooperative Association’s Operation Roundup each child was given a book to add to their home library. #123thestoryiscomingtome #communityoutreach 
123 Lighthouse
Yesterday Ms. Kim visited the children at Lighthouse Pre-School Gainesville. They read a story about bringing a circus to the library. Each child was gifted their very own book thanks to the Cooke County Electric Cooperative Association’s Operation Roundup. #CCLcommunityoutreach #123thestoryiscomingtome
