LIVE HOMEWORK HELP®
What is Live Homework Help?
Live Homework Help, is an innovative after-school program that benefits the young patrons and their families of the Library. Thousands of children and adults from around the country are already using this program. This service provides live on-line tutoring to Cooke County Library patrons who are students in 4th-12th grades and are taking introductory college courses. This program is provided in English and Spanish. The same quality of tutors is required for both languages.
Real Tutors, Real Results:
Live Homework Help brings professional tutors, professors, certified teachers, college students and graduate students from across the globe via the Internet. Patrons have the opportunity to learn one-to-one from subject experts in math (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Calculus), science (Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics), social studies, and English (Essay Writing). Tutors are evaluated on a weekly basis. These evaluations include reviews of session logs, students' ratings, and comments. Tutor.com's staff contacts tutors weekly with feedback from these evaluations to continually improve the quality of the tutoring sessions.
