We read about candy canes and gingerbread men before walking on a life size Candy Land board. Then we made snowflakes and candy canes. #candyland #cclchildrensclass #candy

St. Mary’s Artwork Display December 14-January 2.  

On 12/9/15, Ms. Kim visited the children at Southside Daycare. She read about animals who really needed a bath! Then each child was given a book to take home thanks to the John and Sandy Schmitz Family.  

We read about Christmas trees and presents today. We sang holiday songs and decorated a Christmas tree.  

Don’t forget to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday! We learned about the gigantic balloons that will be in the parade and we made a parade picture using character stickers.  

The children at Ms. Terri’s Preschool were visited today for the “1,2,3…” Program. They read counting books about monkeys and helped Ms. Kim count. Then they were each given a book to add to their home library. Thank you to the John and Sandy Schmitz Family for your support of this program!  

We read about turkeys today! We danced with Ms. Kim and then we glued colorful feathers onto our own turkey.  

Come in to see the fall artwork created by the Era Kindergarten classes. It will be on display until December 12.
