Ms. Kim visited the pre-k children at Valley View Elementary today. They read books about baby chicks and other farm animals. Then each child was given a book of their very own thanks to the John and Sandy Schmitz Family.

The classes at Head Start were visited by Ms. Kim for the “1,2,3…” Program. They read books about friendship and being different. Each child was given a book to share with their families. Thank you to the John and Sandy Schmitz family for your support of this program! 

Children’s Class March 24, 2015: Veterinarian visit

Today the children’s class was visited by Dr. Hartman from Refinery Road Veterinary Clinic. He brought a cat skeleton and one of his vet books so he could show them how he fixes an animal’s #broken bone. He also read about why its important to take your dog or cat to the vet and how to stay safe around strange animals. Then the kids colored a picture of a #dog visiting his #veterinarian. On 3/12/15, Ms. Kim visited the children at Southside Daycare. They read about chickens and spring. Them thanks to the John and Sandy Schmitz Family each child was given a book of their own to take home.

On 3/11/15 Ms. Kim visited the classes at Tiny Trails Daycare. They read about animals that live in the zoo. Then each child received a zoo book to take home and share with their family. Thank you to the John and Sandy Schmitz  family for your support of this program!



Children’s class March 10, 2015: dental hygiene

On 3/10/15, the children learned how to care for their #teeth. Lacey and Cathy from Red River Family Dental PLLC visited. Lacey read about a #hippo who had a toothache and taught them which foods are bad for teeth. Then they colored a page and received a cup filled with #toothbrushes and toothpaste! With the forecast of snow, Ms. Kim read about snow and snowmen at Lighthouse Preschool today. They learned how to care for library books and each child was given a book to take home. Thank you to the John and Sandy Schmitz Family for your support of this program!





Children’s Class March 3, 2015: Dr. Seuss

We celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday today! We read his books and played a game called hop on fish. Then we drew our own silly fish.
