Today the children’s class was visited by Dr. Hartman from Refinery Road Veterinary Clinic. He brought a cat skeleton and one of his vet books so he could show them how he fixes an animal’s #broken bone. He also read about why its important to take your dog or cat to the vet and how to stay safe around strange animals. Then the kids colored a picture of a #dog visiting his #veterinarian. On 3/12/15, Ms. Kim visited the children at Southside Daycare. They read about chickens and spring. Them thanks to the John and Sandy Schmitz Family each child was given a book of their own to take home.

Lacey read about a #hippo who had a toothache and taught them which foods are bad for teeth. Then they colored a page and received a cup filled with #toothbrushes and toothpaste!
