STEAM day at Boys and Girls Club, December 21, 2016
We built snowmen at The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cooke County, Inc. the challenge was to see who could build the tallest one using cotton balls, paper, straws, and tape. #cookecounty #boysandgirlsclub #CCLsteam 
Children’s Class December 20, 2016: Gingerbread Man
Run run as fast as you can…we talked about the #gingerbread man and decorated one with glitter. #CCLchildrensclass #christmascookies 
Special Children’s Class December 19, 2016: Christmas Ballet
The Cooke County Ballet Academy performed their annual #Christmas dances at the Stanford House Senior Citizen Activity Center this morning. Thank you to Mrs. Stephanie, the dancers and their parents, and the Stanford House for making this event possible. #CCLchildrensclass #ballet #dance 
STEAM at Edison Elementary
Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Kim taught a lightbulb lesson to the Edison GT students today. They learned about classification and classified New World and Old World monkeys. Then they made monkey toothpaste. 
Children’s class December 6, 2016: Reindeer
Reindeer was the theme today. We sang with jingle bells, practiced reindeer agility, made reindeer toothpaste and made a reindeer craft. #CCLchildrensclass #reindeer 
Era Artwork Display
The Era Kindergarten classes are helping us get into the holiday spirit with their artwork display. Come in to view it through December 14th! 
Children’s Class November 29, 2016: Gainesville Fire Department
Firemen from the Gainesville Texas Fire-Rescue visited today. They brought their dog, Sparky, and showed us their red fire engine! #CCLchildrensclass #firesafety 
Children’s Class November 22, 2016: a Policeman and his dog
JP Patterson and Sita visited from the Gainesville Police Department today. We watched some of Sita’s commands. Then Officer Patterson painted turkeys with us. 
Children’s Class November 15, 2016: Squirrels
What a day we had in children’s class! We played with a parachute, learned about squirrels and even cracked open a horse apple. #cclchildrensclass #earlyliteracy
