On 10/11/16 Trooper Tackett joined our children’s class today. He read about a square pumpkin who saved the day. Then he showed us the shapes on his uniform.

On Saturday we celebrated Star Wars Reads. We identified characters and saved Hans Solo. Then we made light sabers and took pictures in a photo booth.
Today is the kick off of #FinesForFurryFriends. Have Fines? Bring in items for Noah’s Ark and we will waive them! Call us for more details.

Today Ms. Kim and Ms. Jennifer taught a lightbulb lesson to some of the first graders at Edison Elementary. The kids learned about leaves and fruits of a tree, how leaves get water and how a tree changes each season. #EdisonElementary #STEAM #GainesvilleTX
Ms. Terri’s Preschool received a visit from Ms. Kim & the “123…” Program today. They read stories about animals who eat people food. Thanks to the Cooke County Electric Charitable Foundation: Operation Roundup each child was given a book of their very own. #123thestoryiscomingtome #CCLcommunityoutreach
The “123…” Program sent Ms. Kim to Claude Jones Daycare today. She read about animals who eat people food and then each child was given a book of their very own to take home. Thanks to the Cooke County Electric Charitable Foundation: Operation Roundup for the support of this program.
October is #NationalAdoptAShelterDogMonth so Kelley from Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter read today with her dog bear. Next week we will be collecting donations for the shelter. #FinesForFurryFriends
