Will it sink or will it float? The kids at The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cooke County, Inc built boats out of recyclable materials today. Then they were challenged to see which boat would hold the most weight. 
1,2,3…For our third class we practiced counting to 10. Then the kids built cars and towers. Building Tots is made possible in part by Edward Jones – Financial Advisor: Lee Russell.
The first group of Literary LEGOs participants had their last class today. They built athletic stadiums. Then each child was given a LEGO book thanks to the Friends of the Cooke County Library. Today the younger kids read about and made butterflies with Ms. Windy. The older kids learned about ninjas with Ms. Cora. 
Today we visited the The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cooke County, Inc for our first STEAM class of the summer. During our density lesson we experimented to see the best way to clean up an oil spill in the ocean.

After reading a book about Miss Muffet looking for a new nursery rhyme, we competed in Mother Goose Games outside. We loved jumping over candle sticks and filling up Jack and Jill’s pail! #cclchildrensclass #cclsummer2016 #earlyliteracy #mothergoose
