Art in the Stacks July 25, 2022 : Seahorse painting
This week the Art in the Stacks class painted seahorses. This wrapped up our summer art classes but we are making plans for this fall!

Valley View Enrichment July 20, 2022 : Yoga
The kids at the Valley View Enrichment program did yoga with Ms. Kim this week. They learned about breathing, stretching, and balance.
Children’s Class July 19, 2022 : Fish Feelings
Join us Tuesdays at 10:30 for our Weekly Children’s Class. We read, sing, and do a craft. You’ll leave with a new song in your head, we promise! This week we read about fish feelings.

In STEMed Up on Monday we learned about the effects of ocean pollution on fish. We used pudding, gummy bears, gummy worms, and sprinkles to demonstrate how easy it is for a sea turtle to accidentally eat trash and micro plastics when they are trying to eat food.
Read with Friends July 15, 2022 : Breakfast theme
On Friday Ms. Kim read to the kids at Valley View United Methodist Church’s “Read with Friends” event. They talked about making sure to love all of your friends, even if you become as famous as Bacon. We all know how famous Bacon is! Then they made a paper pancake breakfast with bacon. #CCLcommunityoutreach #EducateEngageEnrich
Little Leopards July 13, 2022 : Yoga
This week Ms. Kim did a yoga class with the school kids at Little Leopards. They each had a favorite and not so favorite pose. Which yoga pose do you like?
