Today the library had a visit from the Cat in the Hat! Did you know it is Dr. Seuss’s birthday this week? The kids got an extra challenge during craft time. They painted with watercolors!

Today Ms. Kim read about trucks. Ice cream trucks, fire trucks, dump trucks, even apple juice trucks. The kids practiced truck noises.

123 St. Mary’s February 16, 2023

On 2/16 the “123 the Story is Coming to Me” program visited the pre-k classes at St. Mary’s Catholic School. Ms. Kim told the kids about the library and read a book that encouraged good care of library books.

Thanks to Jim Goldsworthy – State Farm Agent each child was given a book of their own to share with their family.

123 The Story is Coming to Me February 15, 2023 :Sivells Bend

The “123 The Story is Coming to Me” program kicked off the 2023 semester this week. Ms. Kim read to the Pre-k through 2nd grade at Sivells Bend Elementary School. The kids learned what NOT to do with library books to ensure they stay clean so the next person can enjoy them.

Each child was given a book about Abraham Lincoln that they can add to their home library.
