Ms. Kim made her first spring visit for the “1,2,3 The Story is Coming to Me” program. She visited Ms. Donna’s and Ms. Pat’s daycares today. They read about dogs and other pets. Thanks to the sponsorship of the John and Sandy Schmitz family, each child was given a book to take home.

Since yesterday was Groundhog Day, we learned about groundhogs today. We also learned the difference between winter and spring.

We read about different types of trucks today. Then we played “red light, green light.” We made vehicles using foam shapes for our craft and we played with cars and trucks on a road rug.

Today we had a puppet show of Little Red Riding Hood. We colored pictures of the food we would like to put in granny’s basket. Then we heard the Texas version of the story. We made stick puppets so we can tell our own version of the fairy tale.
