We had a special children’s class on 6/16/15. Our guest was Storytime Theater. They performed “The True Story of Jack and the Beanstalk.” Thank you to North Central Texas College for letting us use the Little Theater!

Boys and Girls Club of Cooke County June 15, 2015: Camouflage
Ms. Kim & other library staff visited the Boys & Girls Club of Cooke County this morning. This was the first of three classes. Today’s topic was camouflage. Children’s Class June 9, 2015: Batman
Batman visited with a Bat-Bang today. He read a book about Batman saving the day. He also discussed that there are more heroes than the super ones. Doctors, parents, librarians, and especially teachers are all heroes in today’s world! #CCLchildrensclass #CCLsummer2015 #batman #heroes
Building Tots June 4, 2015: Colors
Today was our first class in a series of new classes called Building Tots. The children learned about colors and then sorted their blocks by color. They were allowed to free build at the end of the class.
Children’s Class June 2, 2015: Summer Reading Heroes
Yesterday was our Summer Reading Kickoff. Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Kim read about different heroes. We practiced our superhero moves and drew a picture of our hero.
1000 Books Before Kindergar’d’en
Wow! We can’t believe how many books our young readers can read! Ms. Donna’s and. Ms. Pat’s preschoolers just completed reading 400 books to finish up their school year.
Children’s Class: May 19, 2015: Teddy Bear Picnic
If you go down to the library today, you’re in for a big surprise! We had a teddy bear picnic with our favorite animals today. Then we sorted our animals by size and type. For our craft we colored and created a bear paw print.
