Children’s Class June 6, 2017: summer kickoff
We kicked off our summer reading program this morning by reading about planting and flowers which make our world more beautiful. Then we made a mosaic of our world. #CCLchildrensclass #CCLsummer17 #buildabetterworld 
GT Lightbulb Lesson: birds
The library visited Edison Elementary this morning to teach a lightbulb lesson. The kids used various bird “beaks” to practice picking up food. Then they made bird nests out of sticks, string, and other supplies.

Children’s Class April 25, 2017: nursery rhymes
We sang nursery rhymes this morning before doing nursery rhyme yoga. Then we did a density experiment to make Humpty Dumpty float. We also used a dish and a spoon to paint. #nurseryrhymes #CCLsteam #CCLchildrensclass 
Children’s Class April 21, 2017: Earth Day
On Earth Day Rhonda read about how plants grow in the spring. Then everyone got to plant their own Lima bean and make an Earth Day hat. #earthday17 #CCLchildrensclass
