STEMed Up June 21, 2021 : density oil spill lab
This morning the STEMed Up class did a hands on experiment to learn the best method for cleaning up an oil spill in the ocean. Many career paths are involved in a big project like his including marine biologists, engineers, and environmentalists. #CCLstemedup #EducateEngageEnrich

Art in the Stacks June 14, 2021: watercolor crocodiles
Our Art in The Stacks class painted crocodiles this morning. They learned how to paint using the wet on wet technique, talked about the color wheel, and practiced splatter painting to add texture. Look at those pieces of art! #cclartinthestacks #educateengageenrich

Today Ms. Kim read about cookies. We learned to wash our hands before eating and sang our color song.
Children’s Class 5/18/2021
It started raining at the last minute this morning so we brought children’s class inside. We read and sang about friendly monsters. It was great to see friends at the library again. To-go kits to make a monster are still available at the library, while supplies last. #CCLchildrensclass
Children’s Classes return!
Today, after 14 months of virtual classes, we held our first in-person children’s class. Ms. Kim read about parties and we danced to some of our favorite songs! Weekly children’s class resume each Tuesday at 10:30. If it’s rainy we will make up the class on Thursday.
