Valley View after school : bees and flowers

The library visited Valley View’s after school enrichment program on Wednesday. The kids learned about bees and hole they pollinate flowers. They then made bumble bees and used cheese puff crumbs to demonstrate pollination. #stem #flowerscience #CCLcommunityoutreach #EducateEngageEnrich

Gainesville Artwork Display April 18 – April 30, 2022

Come in April 18 – April 30 to see the artwork created by the 1st grade classes from Gainesville Independent School District.
 
Under the instruction of art teacher, Mrs. Galubenski Vogl, the classes of Ms. Bates, Ms. Heiman, and Ms. Avila created castles inspired by Mary Blair’s style.
 
They learned about Mary Blair while reading the book, “Pocket Full of Colors : The Magical World of Mary Blair, Disney Artist Extraordinaire” by Amy Guglielmo & Jaqueline Tourville
