On Tuesday Mrs. Kim read about a squirrel who thought someone was stealing his leaves! It ended up just being the wind.
Starting next Tuesday we will offer two sessions to allow for more space while our meeting room is under construction. You can join Mrs. Kim at 10:30 or 2:30 to read about hedghogs.
While we’ve been having Art in the Stacks classes for years this is the first time to actually have art….in the stacks. Our meeting room is under construction so we painted a pretty fall landscape in the stacks of the kids section.
Today Ms. Kim read to the children at Gainesville Head Start. The “123 The Story is Coming to Me” program teaches local preschool children about the library and encourages a lifelong love of learning and reading.
To build their home libraries, each child was given a new book at the end of the program today.
