Yesterday the “123 The Story is Coming to Me” program sent Ms. Kim to the pre-k classes at Valley View ISD. She read about animals who were very confused by the changing leaves in fall. They also talked about the seasons fall and winter.
Each child was given a book to enjoy with their family at home.

This morning Ms. Kim & Ms. Jennifer taught a Lightbulb Lesson to the Gifted and Talented students at Edison Elementary. They read Scaredy Squirrel. Then they used OzoBots to practice simple coding skills and help Scaredy Squirrel adventure out into the great unknown.
The OzoBots used during this class were purchased with a grant from PenTex Energy Charitable Foundation.
On Wednesday the Valley View ISD After School Enrichment group built 3D roller coasters. The coasters were inspired by Mo Willem’s new book “The Pigeon Will Ride the Roller Coaster!”
Today the “123 The Story is Coming to Me” program sent Ms. Kim to the pre-k classes at St. Mary’s Catholic School. The children learned about the library and Ms. Kim read books about going to school and how to treat your classmates.

Today the “123 The Story is Coming to Me” program visited the Pre-K class at Era ISD. This is the first year for Era to have a Pre-K and we are so happy to get to tell this community about the library!
The children helped Ms. Kim find a moose in one book and read about shapes in another.

Mondays story time at Chick-fil-A Gainesville (TX) (Gainesville, TX) included pumpkin books and a paper pumpkin mosaic. How fast can you say paper pumpkin mosaic?
Today the “123 The Story is Coming to Me” program brought Mrs. Kim to Mrs. Terry’s Preschool. She read about things that swim in the ocean like octopus and baby sharks!
The kids also learned about the library and what they can find there. Did you know the library has really big nonfiction books for kids. They are full of so many facts.

The “123 The Story is Coming to Me” program kicked off this morning! Ms. Kim read to the children at Mrs. Donna’s Childcare. This year she is teaching the participants about the resources found at the library by sharing her bag of “library things.”
