This week the Lil Leopards Learning Centers both received visits from the library’s “123 the Story is Coming to Me” program. The kids were so excited to bring home their new library bag complete with a book for them to keep and library brochures to help them tell their parents about the library. Funding for this project is made possible by the generous donation of a local sponsor. #CCLcommunityoutreach#123thestoryiscomingtome#earlyliteracy#EducateEngageEnrich
This week in our Tuesday children’s classes the kids learned how to care for their library books. Then they made a bookmark craft so they won’t dog-ear their pages.
Our first artwork display of the school year is here! Come in to see what the Gainesville Head Start students created. The display is here through September 28!
The children’s classes had a great time reading about dogs this week. We love to see new and returning faces each week. Be sure to join us at 10:30 or 2:30 every Tuesday. #CCLchildrensclass#earlyliteracy#EducateEngageEnrich
At story time at Kayson’s Candy Company Mrs. Kim read about what happens when you take a circus to the library. Let’s just say, its really not a good idea!
The “123…” program visited Kid Care Learning Center LLC this week. Mrs. Kim read silly books that encouraged the kids to practice making animal noises. Then they read a wiggly book. Each child was given a book of their own to share with their families.
