Virtual Library Programs

The Library is bringing some of your favorite programs right to your home! During our closure and until it is safe to have in-person classes our Virtual Library Programs will be posted on the Library’s Facebook page. Links are provided below for previous programs archived on YouTube.


Virtual Library Program Schedule

Mondays @ 10:30: Toddler Craft Time – weekly beginning June 1

Join Ms. Kim for step by step instructions of a toddler friendly craft.

@ 2:30: STEMed UP – weekly beginning June 1

Join us for a virtual lesson with science, technology, engineering, and math components. This will include hands on experiments that can be completed at home. This program is focused on children between the ages of 8 and 12.

Tuesdays @ 10:30: Weekly Children’s Class

Join Ms. Kim for a story, songs, and craft idea.

@ 2:30: Chapter book Read Aloud – weekly beginning June 2

Join us as read popular YA chapter books. Each week we will continue where we left off.

Wednesdays @ 10:30: Literary LEGO – weekly beginning June 3

Join Ms. Rhonda for a LEGO building challenge. Build your creation. Share a picture on the weekly Facebook post or email to cookectylib@gmail.com so we can share your creation!

 @ 2:30: Let’s Move! – weekly beginning June 3

Let’s get up and move! This program will introduce fun physical activities for kids that you can do at home!

Thursdays @ 10:30: Building Tots – weekly beginning June 4

We’ve adapted our original Building Tots program and made it virtual. We are going to offer a different building activity for you to do with your toddler each week throughout the summer!

@ 2:30: Yoga- June 4, July 2

Join us for beginner yoga.

@ 2:30: Craft Live- May 21, June 18, & July 16

Join us to make a fun adult craft.

@ 2:30: First Chapter- June 11, July 9

Join us to hear the first chapter of an adult fiction book, because your to-read list isn’t long enough already!

Fridays @ 10:30: Art in the Stacks

Join Ms. Rachel for a step by step art lesson. These lessons are fun for all ages but designed for children ages 8 to 12.

Second Saturdays @ 10:30 Second Saturday Stories
