Children’s Class June 30, 2015: Superman in Flight

Superman was our hero for the day. Since he flies, we learned about airplanes and other things that fly. The younger kids had to try to keep flying objects in the air before making their own plane craft. The older kids made straw gliders. #CCLchildrensclass #CCLsummer2015 #superman #STEM

Building Tots June 18, 2015: numbers

Literary LEGOs June 24, 2015: Heroes

Children’s Class June 23, 2015: Storms and Buildings

This morning the younger kids talked about #Marvel’s Storm and how she controls the weather. They then read about storms and made the sounds of rain. Then they created a thunderstorm collage. The older kids talked about buildings and created their own with toothpicks and marshmallows. #CCLchildrensclass #STEM #CCLsummer2015  

Boys and Girls Club of Cooke County June 22, 2015: Buildings

Monday morning was our second class at the Boys and Girls Club. We talked about structures. Ringling Bros Clown: June 15, 2015

Yesterday Kelly the clown from Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey circus visited. He performed mant tricks and told us about the circus. Thanks to North Central Texas College for the use of your Little Theater!   

Boys and Girls Club of Cooke County June 15, 2015: Camouflage

Ms. Kim & other library staff visited the Boys & Girls Club of Cooke County this morning. This was the first of three classes. Today’s topic was camouflage.
