No commentsThe 3rd session of Literary LEGOs met today to build their heroes. We had headless heroes, patriotic cars, and aliens! Come in to see their creations this week.
No commentsThe Cooke County 4-H Share the Fun kids performed for our children’s class today. Their skit, “Can’t Stop the Dream” took first place in the Celebrate 4-H category at the Texas 4-H Round-up. Thank you to NCTC for the use of the Little Theater.
No commentsOn July 9, Ms. Kim and the Building Tots class learned about numbers. They used a counting book and blocks to practice counting to 10.
No commentsOur second session of Literary LEGOs had their last class yesterday. They built hideouts for their favorite heroes. At the end of the class they each received a LEGO book thanks to the Friends of the Library.
No commentsCooke County now has some very well trained superheroes! They know how to jump over buildings, climb through a spider web, blow bubbles with their super power breath and walk across lava. The older kids enjoyed a visit from Science Safari where Susan showed them the living things you can find in creek water.
