The “1,2,3…” Program sent Ms. Kim to visit the children at Ms. Pat and Ms. Donna R.’s preschools today. She read books about animals in the zoo. They each received a book of their very own to take home. Thank you to the John and Sandy Schmitz family for your support of this program!
It’s pumpkin time! We read a book and an ebook about pumpkins. Then we felt the inside of a pumpkin and counted it’s seeds. We made a pumpkin craft to bring home.
We had a special guest to help us celebrate Batman Day. We learned that Batman’s most important tool is his library card! We got to jump over buildings and crawl through the bat cave.
Ms. Kim kicked off “1,2,3…the Story is Coming to Me” at Sivells Bend Elementary. The students read and learned about the library. Ms Kim also read an interactive book to allow them to move while reading. Each child was given a book to add to their home library thanks to the John and Sandy Schmitz Family!
We celebrated Talk Like A Pirate Day a week early. We learned how to swab the deck and get a ship to sail before we made our own 3D pirate ships. #pirate #talklikeapirateday #CCLchildrensclass
We went on a bear hunt today! We didn’t catch a scary bear though. We made a map to help us find our teddy if he ever gets lost. We also helped Ms. Kim tell the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears.
We had fun talking about apples and apple trees. We learned about the different parts of an apple. We practiced counting to 10 and stacked apples on our self portraits.
