Today’s #STEM class at The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cooke County, Inc was about shadows. We made a 3D figurine and then drew it’s shadow. We also learned how to cut a notecard to fit around our head. #shadows #boysandgirlsclub
Today we had a special performance. We watched “Reading & Rhyming with Mother Goose.” Mother Goose and her puppet friends shared their nursery rhymes with us. Will it sink or will it float? The kids at The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cooke County, Inc built boats out of recyclable materials today. Then they were challenged to see which boat would hold the most weight.
1,2,3…For our third class we practiced counting to 10. Then the kids built cars and towers. Building Tots is made possible in part by Edward Jones – Financial Advisor: Lee Russell.
The first group of Literary LEGOs participants had their last class today. They built athletic stadiums. Then each child was given a LEGO book thanks to the Friends of the Cooke County Library.
