The “123 the Story is Coming to Me” program visited Muenster ISD pre-k classes this week.
Mrs. Kim read 3 books. The first introduced the kids to the library, the 2nd was a book about winter and friendship, the 3rd book was a book with no words! The kids helped her tell this story just by looking at the pictures. It was so much fun!
Each child was given a book of their own to take home thanks to the generous donation of a local sponsor.
We had a special celebration for Valentine’s’ Day. The kids learned the ASL signs for “I love you” and “hug”. They also created a valentine to give to their special person.
The kindergarten classes from Lindsay ISD took a mini field trip to the library this morning to see the artwork they have on display. They learned how to take care of their library books and took a tour of the library.
You can see their artwork on display until February 22.
The “123 the Story is Coming to Me” program visited the pre-k kids at Cornerstone Childcare Center. They learned about the library, read about Valentine’s, and about a bear who lost his glasses.

Stuffies are ready to see their humans. They have a souvenir book to show their human how much fun they had spending the night at the library. Here’s a peek at the fun!
**The stuffed animal sleepover was part of our children’s class on Tuesday. After bringing their stuffie to listen to stories, the really brave stuffies spent the night at the library. This was a good opportunity for children to to calm anxieties about mommy going to work, a child going to daycare, or attending an overnight sleepover with a relative or friend.
We loved celebrating Valentine’s Day with our little group of friends at Chick-fil-A Gainesville (TX) (Gainesville, TX) this morning. They each made a valentine card to give to someone they love.
