This morning the Art in the Stacks class created bug jar paintings using oil pastels and watercolor paints for a watercolor resist technique. What a creative group!

This week the “123 the Story is Coming to Me” program visited the pre-k children at Little Leopards Learning Ladder. The kids learned how to take care of books so they don’t get messy.
Each child was given a book for their home library thanks to Jim Goldsworthy – State Farm Agent.
This morning we had a great time learning about optical illusions with the Lightbulb Learners at Edison Elementary. Ms. Kim shared various optical illusions or “tricks to the eye.” The kids also learned a few magic tricks they can do at home.
